Child Buckle
Today child buckles are bulky and ergonomically unrealistic. To hinder the uncomfortable feelings from both buckle rubbing and caretaker pushing the buckle up against the child during latching and releasing the body shape and size were considered the most important factor.

Two Designs, One Mechanism
The goal was to design two child buckles a slim model that hugged the mechanism with tight tolerances. A version that a customer could personalize to their liking’s.
While many different directions were considered the top choices were the ones that had a proper hood above the button that allows the caretaker to hold the two tongues together with one hand. And any coloration was also a place to have extra grip hold areas.
One Mechanism
A new mechanism was the whole premise for designing the new buckles. It was much more compact and functioned better than the competition.
The Mechanism To Rule Them All
Due to the compact nature of the mechanism it has the ability to be dressed in whichever casing a customer desires. The size of the mechanism should ensure a comfortable buckle fit between the legs if designed differently.
There were two final versions that had different customization. One slim model which was the most comfortable between kids legs and the other which was still comfortable and still smaller than competition has grip and customization. The green “latch” indication is available on all models.
